Brenda Wensil enjoyed a 25 year career at Wachovia Corporation before taking her skills to Capitol Hill. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Journalism from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Science in Organization Development from Queens University. An At-Large contributor, she is currently the Chief Customer Experience Officer at the US Department of Education Federal Student Aid.

Scott Shail recently left a senior counsel position at Wachovia Corp to pursue a more entrepreneurial role as Special Counsel with Parker Poe, Attorneys and Counselors at Law. He received a Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. An avid skydiver, marathoner and intramural athlete, Scott resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and three children.
Hooked on the powerful idea of expanding the social consciousness, Mark Vertreese is a Kansas-to-North Carolina transplant who firmly embraces his Southern roots. A student of his environment and challenger of stereotypes, he’s married to a striking blonde and has an amazing son who bridges both racial and cultural chasms. Mark is a published author (The Brotherhood), a graduate of Appalachian State University, and an avid motorcyclist with a truly unique perspective on society.

After receiving a BA in Philosophy and MA in English from Eastern Washington University, David J. Larkin, Jr. migrated to New York City where he graduated from Columbia Law School in 1982 and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the oldest law school newspaper in the country “The Columbia Law School News.” In addition to his role as Legal Council at MetLife, Larkin has also been a Volunteer Cook at the Church of St. Joseph for 28 years and will search for meaning in a modern society in his column “Losing My Religion.”

Terri Craft, a graduate of The Governor’s School for the Arts, studied musical theatre and dance before receiving her Bachelor of Science from Hampton University. She then pursued modeling and the performing arts as a right of passage before being lured by Bamboo Apothecary and Capitol Fashion as a consultant. But when MAC Cosmetics discovered her blog, Glamour Mission, they quickly acquired the young author as their educator.
